How it works
Fitz & Morri brings matter preparation, financial analysis, mediation, and access to independent attorneys into one coordinated process.
If you reach agreement:
The information gathered throughout the process is carried directly into the agreements, state-approved forms, and supporting documents needed to file and resolve your dispute.
If you do not reach full agreement:
The same organized record carries forward—showing what has been provided, what remains outstanding, and which decisions remain unresolved.
We prepare before you negotiate.
Each party first builds and reviews their own record, working with a mediator to cover the information, documents, finances, priorities, and decisions relevant to resolution.
Fitz & Morri then reconciles the information and supporting documents to create one shared, source-supported record.
Information that cannot yet be reconciled is flagged within the record, including:
Conflicting information
Missing documentation
Unsupported record items
Decisions that remain unresolved
The source-supported record becomes the shared foundation for financial analysis and negotiation.
Step 1 — Preparation
Optional.
The financial information is reviewed and translated into a clear picture of the marital estate.
The parties can see the assets, debts, income, expenses, and potential settlement scenarios before making decisions.
Step 2 — Financial Analysis
Once the record is built and the financial analysis is complete, the parties move into mediator-led negotiation, with a clear understanding of the matter and the decisions ahead.
Step 3 — Negotiation
Optional.
If the parties reach an agreement, Fitz & Morri can continue beyond mediation by assisting with the preparation of the Florida Supreme Court-approved forms needed for an uncontested filing.
Because the financial information, parenting plan, and settlement terms have already been developed throughout the mediation process, the required court forms can often be completed more efficiently and with fewer duplicate requests for information.
This optional service is limited to approved family law forms and administrative filing support. Fitz & Morri does not provide legal advice or create custom legal documents, and either party may choose to have the final documents reviewed by independent legal counsel before filing.
Step 4 - Complete the Form Filing Process

The Fitz & Morri Method is designed to work alongside independent family-law counsel when legal advice or representation is needed.
Each party may retain an attorney of their own choosing for targeted support, such as limited-scope advice, mediation representation, agreement review, or post-mediation legal completion. Each attorney represents only the party who hires them.
The goal is to reserve attorney time—and legal spending—for the work that truly requires a lawyer.
